Events Deserve Better Content
Events can cost hundreds of thousands in venue, catering, and logistics — yet the media coverage gets treated as an afterthought. A phone camera on the day, folders of unedited files that never get used, or a highlight video that arrives three weeks later when the LinkedIn post window has already closed and the sponsor report is filed.
We started Recap Media because we believed events deserved better than that. Coverage that's planned before the day, delivered while it's still relevant, and formatted for the platforms where your audience actually is.
That means arriving with a brief, not just a camera. Knowing which shots your marketing team needs. Delivering content your team can publish, not just archive.

Simple Process, Professional Results
Pre-Event Brief
Before we arrive, you receive a written coverage brief — what we'll capture, in what order, and why. We align on your goals, your audience, and what the content needs to do. No surprises on the day.
Capture
On event day, we handle everything: photography, multi-camera video, social content, interviews, and live streaming if needed. One team, one point of contact.
Deliver
You get a full content suite: highlight reels, social clips, edited photos, and raw footage if requested. Same-day selects and 24-hour turnaround options are available.
Hey, I'm Max
Your event took months of planning, coordination, and budget to pull together. The content that comes out of it should reflect that. I started Recap Media to make sure it does — so that what you walk away with isn't just photos and footage, but content your team can actually use.
I've been working as a freelance videographer and photographer since 2018, covering everything from 20-person boardroom sessions to 500-attendee developer conferences. Along the way I realised that the difference between footage that gets used and footage that gets archived wasn't quality — it was strategy.
Knowing what your marketing team needs before you show up. Shooting for the platforms the content is going to live on. Delivering while the event is still fresh in people's minds.
Being an outsider in Oslo — I came from Poland, built a life here — means I naturally bridge the international and the local. I work comfortably with English-speaking agencies organising events in Norway, and I'm building deep knowledge of Oslo's venues, light, and logistics with every project.
Outside of work you'll find me running, lifting, or somewhere in the Norwegian outdoors. If you've heard of Norseman — not done yet, but definitely on the list.
If you've got an event coming up, I'd love to hear about it.
